Anne Hedde Joins Ipsos’ Global Advertising Research Specialty
Ipsos, a global leader in research, welcomes Anne Hedde as Global President of Ipsos ASI. In this capacity, Anne is responsible for worldwide Project Management and all aspects of Ipsos ASI’s business in the United States.
Prior to this appointment, Anne Hedde was with Kantar where she served as CFO of Lightspeed Research from 2000 until she took the helm as CEO in 2002. During that time, she drove development and strategy leading the group from a U.S. based business to a global organization of over 400 people across 17 countries.
"Anne has proven herself as a true leader in the research business,” says Jim Smith, Chairman and CEO of Ipsos in North America. "Her reputation as a thought leader in interactive research and her demonstrated ability to successfully build and lead companies is an ideal fit with Ipsos.”
Hedde is an active member of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) and other industry organizations. An MBA graduate from Texas University at Arlington, she started her career in financial services as a Certified Public Accountant and prior to joining Kantar, held several positions in corporate finance and investment banking.
Hedde also serves as chair of the Association Collaborative Effort (ACE), a joint initiative backed by the American Marketing Association (AMA), Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), Council of American Survey Research Organizations (Casro), Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR) and Marketing Research Association (MRA), with the aim of assuring quality standards for research. Speaking in her first public appearance since joining Ipsos ASI, Hedde said: “I am very excited to be joining Ipsos at this time. ASI is a proven world leader in the field of advertising research and I look forward to continuing to help build this business globally.”
